Well, my poor sister passed away last year of stomach cancer. It was too painful. She was so young to leave us. And the worst part is that she knew she was leaving and could do nothing.
Life is a bitch and then you die.

He has bowel cancer....is that kind of cancer bad?Jessica - bowel cancer does not have to be bad, these days there is a good chance that it can be treated. But this does depend on a lot of circumstances such as how early they have found out and the kind of medical treatment available. :)

This completelly depends on the nature of the cancer. If it is a cancer of the smooth outer tissues for the bowel, it is quite treatable with major surgery alone and often no further treatment. The cancer that is fatal is the cancer the shows signs of metastasis. Metastasizing cancer is the type of malignant neoplasm that travels to adjoining tissue. So, if your grandfather does not have metastatic cancer, he may very well be treated and survive.

Yes I agree with the others, today there are technology and well there are more medicines in the world that they can be treated for the doctors in the hospitals, therefore please you don't be sad with the new, but you can pray for your grandfather.
We will do it.

I'm sorry to hear about your grandpa's situation, Jessica. I have two close relatives dealing with difficult forms of cancer. It has been a challenging and educational time for my family, as I'm sure it is for yours. Take heart - there are many more options for treatment and more positive outcomes today than even a few years ago. Thoughts for complete healing for your grandpa and for strength and endurance for your family as needed.
Sincerely,
-Cloud
