Individuals can be classified into two groups: the haves and the have-nots
Generally, if you are wealthy, you are classified in the have category.
If you have very little, or are not wealthy, you fit in the have-not category.

Those that have money are the Haves
Those that have no money are the Have-nots.
This is only meaningful when you contrast the two in expressions like:
The country is divided into two types of person: the Haves and the Have-nots.

And many Have-nots tend to be wannabe-Haves. :D
