“Adónde fueres, haz lo que vieres.”

I am told there is a future subjunctive in Portuguese. I am right in thinking it is obsolete in Spanish?

Yes, it's true, though you can find it in legal texts :)

"Donde fueres", instead of "adónde" ;)

Thanks. Can somebody explain how there can be a future subjunctive, when there isn't one in Latin?

I can find a claim (http://www.orbilat.com/Languages/Spanish/History/Subjunctive/Spanish-Subjunctive_Evolution-04.html) that it was a merger between the perfect subjunctive and the future perfect indicative.
