Can someone explain to me how "lo's" work with expressions. I know how to use it as a direct object pronoun. ie. ' lo comí '. But there are expressions is spanish that I see like 'lo mejor' 'lo más'. How do these work ? Thank You

In the instances you cited, lo is a neuter article. It is being used to make a noun out of an adjective.
lo mejor = the best thing
lo importante = the important thing
lo siguiente = the following thing

 Good one
You can use the dropdown menu for writing Spanish accents and characters. "N" is definitely not the same as "ñ". :)

It also means "it"
I ate it = (Yo) lo comí.
Eat it! = ¡Cómelo!

¡Esta comida es lo peor! No quiero comerlo.
Creo que estoy haciendo mejor de usando 'lo', pero aún no sé donde y cuando puedo usarlo todos los tiempos.

Yes lo can mean that which is, and it's used more commonly than that which is .

¡Esta comida es lo peor!:good: No quiero comerla.
Creo que lo estoy haciendo mejor de usando al usar 'lo', pero aún no sé dónde y cuándo puedo usarlo todos los tiempos.
Keeping "all the time" would need a different sentence: "...pero no siempre sé dónde y cuándo puedo usarlo".
You actually have an accurate idea. Practice makes better. :)

Creo que lo estoy haciendo mejor de usando al usar 'lo'
Per the discussion in another thread, a more accurate translation of what I was trying to say would probably be:
Creo que estoy mejorando al usar 'lo'.
As for the lo/la/los/las thing, that's something I'm still pretty awful with. Not that I don't understand it, but it's just something we don't have to think about in English.

Yes probably is more accurate your commentary about the use of Lo.
Creo que estoy mejorando en el uso de LO.
