I was reading this article

and I found the word sloan
Piech = Sloan: VW AG owns Skoda, Seat, Volkswagen, Audi, Bentley, Lamborghini, Bugatti, Scania (trucks), and now, almost, Porsche.
meaning?¿?¿?¿?¿

I thought it was a new word, but it's a reference to other person, like Rockefeller = uncle Scrooge.
