How would I say this in Spanish? "to shovel snow" The Tomisimo dictionary says "sacar la nieve". Is this regional, or is it how this is said everywhere in the Spanish-speaking world?

In Spain "sacar la nieve". I think I've read "palear" somewhere, but it's not used here. :)

quitar la nieve es la más común en España.

I use "quitar la nieve", like Robindesbois or "retirar la nieve"

I would say Palear la nieve.
