Are "linseed" either the flax seeds (semillas del lino) or the oil from flax seed (aceite de linaza)? Maybe both?
Thanks. :)

I suppose it means both, but in practice, it would be understood to be the linseed oil.

Flax seed is linaza. Flax seed oil is edible oil of flax seeds.
Linseed oil is also flax seed oil but the type used to thin paints or stain wood. It is non-edible.
The plant produces the raw material for linen.
