May I use manyfold in a sentence like this:

I think manyfold is an adverb, Irma. Is this one on the list you have to remember? It's a rather old word and not often used nowadays.

My book collection has grown manyfold as I recently became a member of the bookclub.

Yes, this is one of the words... I think there are many old fashioned, and that can confuse me. Maybe I'll start speaking in the 18th century way. :confused:

Hmm. Oxford Spanish-English doesn't have "manyfold" but sends "twofold" to "-fold" (suff), where one example is adverbial and two are adjectival.

I can only think of it being used as an adverb. You do not have manyfold books. But this is not modern English, it is old...very old.
