Duck means to lower your head and body quickly in order to move under sth or to avoid being hit
Ex. Duck under the table

Can anybody list different verbs with examples to illustrate them , verbs coming from animal nouns.
TO dog etc...

To dog someone about something - annoy someone
To pig out - to eat alot
To cat nap - sleep during the day / generally be lazy during the day like a cat
To hound someone - to consistently bother someone
To leech someone - to slowly steal something from someone
To weasel out - to get out of something
To ram - hit something
To monkey around - fool around

isn't there 'to horse around'? I think that means the same as monkey around...I don't know if there is -_-

to bug = to bother
to hound = to persistantly question or search
to skunk = to overwhelingly win
to slothe = to laze around
to hawk = to agressively sell
to bitch = to complain obnoxiously
to cow = to intimidate
to outfox = to outsmart
to louse (up)= to mess up

There's more, and those are just the verbs.

PS: to grouse= to complain
to whale = to loudly cry
