If you really want to learn Spanish watch the Spanish soap operas. Have been watching
them for the last 30+ años. I noticed from the beginning that I could learn Spanish many many
times faster by watching them. Spanish novelas use all the vocabulary of human emotions.
En Nombre del Amor is a Mexican novela that I just finished watching. Tried not to miss one
night of it. Even when I had to work nights I would record it to watch it later. También tengo
telenovelas DVDs para mirar.

En Nombre del Amor - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/En_Nombre_del_Amor)

I agree!!!

My personal favorite right now is "Mas Sabe El Diablo". It apparently aired last year, but I just caught it on one of the Spanish channels on my TV. Then I found that I, being the impatient person that I am, do not have to wait till 10:00 pm every night...I can actually watch ALL the episodes on YouTube!!!!!! :D

I'm not sure if I understand your question. Are you wanting to know if there are Spain tv shows on American TV? I'm not sure if there are or not. On my television, we get a few Spanish channels like Telemundo. But I'm not sure where they are filmed. Like "Mas Sabe...", is supposed to be based in NY (although I read they film alot in Miami, I think). So I guess it's a U.S. telenovela. Also, there is the program "Sábado Gigante" which I know some of my friends watch in Nicaragua too, but I'm not sure if that's a U.S. program as well!?

You could search on goggle or youtube to find shows specifically from Spain...
Here's one I found on YouTube. I assume it's from Spain by the way the lady says "gracias" at the beginning...?

¿Dónde vives amigo? Yo vivo en California. Tenemos varios canales in español gratis aquí en
California.

Los DVDs en español los compro at different video rental places or at Target/Walmart type stores. Rent=burn.;)

películas y talk shows de México.

Probably......but all soap operas (telenovelas) are the same story.

Young girl who is poor, sick, mistreated, abandoned....becomes the object of affection of the young, rich, handsome man whose family totally disagrees with this relationship. The young girl then inherits or is seen by her real mother who happens to be from this affluent family and is then taken in by this family and only the mother knows this is her daughter from the affair she had with her true love but because she was married to this senile, rabo verde, old man who found out about her affair told the maid who has been in the family service for years to get rid of this sin-child..blah blah blah.....

She inherits a lot of money or is finally recognized for who she truly is, becomes rich, marries her young man and they live happily ever after.

But they are good sources for learning Spanish. I agree.
