For two years I only watched television in Spanish. No television in English. For two straight years I only listened to the radio in Spanish in my car and at home. No radio in English. Recorded talk radio shows in Spanish and listened to them often. Listen to Spanish recorded conversations over and over again in my car and at home. Watched TV Spanish novelas every night for two years. In my car I would only listen to Spanish songs on tape along with the Spanish radio. Would read every day in Spanish. Studied Spanish every day. Took 18 classes of Spanish. Went to school in Mexico living with a Mexican family two times. Married a Spanish speaker. Went to Cuba two times and Mexico many times. If I see somebody on the street or anywhere I speak to them in Spanish.

(I started learning Italian at 19 in Italy and started to learn Spanish when I was 24. Before that I knew no Spanish or Italian. I live in California where I've lived all my life except for two years living in Italy.)

Well your method to learn the language is very traditional and well, I believe that your way and another way are acceptable in the ambit of the learning, and I believe that if you endeavor a little more in the learning of the language, then I believe that you will able to speak and write soon, as you have planned in your learning.

I hope that my word doesn't confuse for you.
