Why has Crotalito been banned? I don't understand it. He's written a lot of posts and he has been here for a lot of time. I don't know what he has done, but I don't think he deserves to be banned. He just tries to help and to learn English, maybe he doesn't achieve it, but none of us are either perfect or erudite. Everybody here knows Crotalito and we know what to do, but... banned?
Bueno, si sirve de algo: rompo una lanza en favor de Crotalito.
Espero que sea algo temporal...

We don't know what the details are. That's left between the admins/mods. There could have been something that he did out of the open forums. I manage a huge forum and I know for a fact that the staff doesn't generally share with the public why a member was suspended/banned. He could have just been suspended (temporary banned).

I understand you, and I wouldn't ask (or even I have never asked) if a new member has just registered with no good intentions. I myself have reported somebody some time (because of spam or another reasons). But, as I would say in Spanish: Crotalito es una institución aquí.
Of course my question can be deleted or never answered (and I'm not going to insist on asking about it). But I'm really surprised and that makes me sad, since sometimes Crotalito is like a child; I am sure he's suffering now.

I agree.

Crotalito es una institución aquí.I agree too. Although the admin can of course do as they like, and banning a new disruptive member needs no explanation, I think it would be polite to members to have some kind of announcement about the banning of a member who has (I think) more posts than anybody.

Crotalito was temporarily suspended due to not complying with the forum rules (http://forums.tomisimo.org/misc.php?do=showrules). I think it would be inappropriate to get into more specifics in public. If anyone has questions or concerns, please send me or one of the moderators a private message. Thanks for understanding.
