Vocabulary Categories

Long story short, I am making my own Spanish Flash Card application to help learn a new programming language and to help learn Spanish. If you had to create 7-10 categories that encompassed the largest portion of words possible, what would they be? Here is my first cut.

1. Around the house
2. Eating/Food
3. Travel
4. Adjectives and Adverbs
5. Sports and Entertainment
6. Business and Technology
7. Everyday Conversation (this one may be too vague)
8. Health and Medical? (Is there a better overall title?)

Still need something to cover other stuff you see out in the world like plants, animals, etc... Maybe shopping? I'll need clothes as well (although I could put in the Around the House category.

Thoughts?

Some suggestions:

People's activities (professions, occupations, work...)
Arts (music, painting...)
Sports
Where people live (countryside, city...)
Shopping might include weights, currencies, sizes...
Clothing, as a separate category, might also be useful for including colours and textures, for example.

I have a little book here which gives basic Spanish vocab by topic. The categories are:

The Arts and Entertainment

But I can't type out the whole vocabulary for you. :D
