Uno de los temas más escabrosos y más difíciles de perfeccionar es la pronunciación de vocales tales como /i/ I/
æ, a, ʌ
e, ə, tc...
u, ʊ, etcc.
I think the important thing is to know about the position of the tongue.
CAn anybody help and tell me where to put it in the mouth?

Sheet tiene el sonido de la i española. Shit tiene la lengua más por arriba y por atrás.

Ah, you do not want to mix those up! My great grandmother is a native Spanish speaker and changed the sheets on the beds often. Because her accent was so thick, when she would say that she was going to "change the sheets" what we heard was "I am going to go change the shits" and we would try very hard not to giggle.

(Am I correct in saying that the Spanish word is "mierda"? Also, is it more casual than the English word? I apologize if this is a taboo subject here; I assure you my curiosity is purely for educational reasons!)

Nil desperandum. It is difficult, but not impossible.

I'll try to repeat this sentence. :D :rose:

Now that I say it aloud, I find more difficult the first i than the second (in difficult). That's curious.

I don't believe that can be difficult to pronoun that word.

In fact you can do a consult in Google translator and search the word in question, so the same software online will gives you the result in the moment, and the pronoun in voices.
When I have any doubt how I should to pronoun in voice, then I tend to consult the translator only whatever you can find faster.

Yo creo que todo depende de la posición de la lengua en todas las vocales.

A translator to pronounce a word?

Yes.

check it out.

goes to www.Google.ca and goes to the translator session.

When you are in the website, you can go to the part where is the translator online, after you select your language to translator in this case English, later you write in the software translator the word you need to translate, and that's all.

In the down part there's a bottom where you can hear the translation in voice form.

I hope you can find the feature.

Sincerely yours.
