Sandy,
I grew up in Chicago, moved there when I was 11 years old. Basically from there moved to Hawaii, got married, had a son who is now 27 years old, is a surfer who goes from Puerto Rico to Hawaii following the waves. My husband and I "retired" in San Miguel de Allende, which is basically a colonial town, full of Americans who love this beautiful town.

gomey, how did you end up in Mexico and where did you grow up in the USA. Sandy

I looked at the About Me section in your profile, and I loved reading that although your mother tongue is Spanish you feel more comfortable in English. I feel the same way, and even if, in a way, I'm proud of it, sometimes I feel a bit of an oddball.
