As far as I know, when someone writes a message on your profile, you are instantly notified (just like I was just notified that I had an unread Profile Comment), if you're logged on, and you are notified when you log on if you have unread messages. You shouldn't have to check everyday.

You can keep replying to me if you have other questions and I'll be notified that you are writing messages on my profile.
