direct object pronouns and indirect object pronouns

Yeah they don't make sense to me. My teacher sucks at teaching so anybody have any hints or tips on how to do them? Could really use the help

Well, first remember, direct object pronouns answers the question What? or Whom? Also, the object that directly receives the action of the verb is called the direct object.

ie.... Twitchy hit the ball. The direct object is ball. Ball is the direct object
Twitchy hit it. We replaced the word ball with it....so it is the direct object pronoun.

Pronouns
-me (me in English)
-te (you, familiar)
-lo, la (him, her, it and you (formal))
-nos (us)
-os (you all - familiar)
-los, las (them & you all formal).

INDIRECT OBJECT PRONOUNS
The indirect object (IO) tells us where the direct object (DO) is going.
ie.... He gives the book to Twitchy. (book is the DO)

Where is the book going? To Twitchy (Twitchy is the IO)

He gives Twitchy the book. (DO = Book) (Twitchy is the IO....because the book is going to Twitchy).

The key to learning to use the indirect object pronouns is the same as the key for direct object pronouns. You must learn to think in phrases, not words.

But this is only a small sample of DO and IO..... but I think it's a good start for you.
