Ayer tuve clase
I know there's something wrong with this sentence, but I don't know how to make it right :/ Help?
"Ayer tuve clase de español un trabajo en grupo sobre la capital de España" Basically, I'm trying to say that I had spanish yesterday and that we worked together in groups about the capital of Spain.. I know it's not right!! ![]() |

Trabajamos=we had worked / we worked
Trabajabamos=we had been working/we were working Tricky field, tenses. Also difficult for Spanish speakers, the english tenses. For example, the distribution going to vs will...lots of rules and at the end of the day a big percentage of sentences would admit both. |

All the other translations are fine, but I'll just add one more in an attempt to correct your sentence with the fewest changes possible.
