The brilliant and hilarious:love: Fats Waller:love: used "get some cash for your trash"in this song full of double meaning from 1941.
Here it is sung. It's worthwhile hearing it.

In more contemporary American English the terms are very ambiguous.
I think: would you take trade? (or they take trade) or: can we make an arrangement?(or they have a special arrangement) may be a way of expressing this. Right now I cannot think of another term. Perhaps other anglos in the forum can come up with more direct terms.

It's true that Fats Waller and many other blues singers had many songs filled with double meanings, often with sexual connotations. It seems to me that in this tune the phrase "cash for your trash" really is about WWII recycling programs; the sexual innuendo relates to spending the cash one has received, rather than being a euphemism itself.

You're right, the word "trade" has a long history in US English in expressions that have sexual connotations.

As a general expression: "to take it out in trade" is to accept or demand sexual favors in lieu of non-sexual methods of repayment of a debt or favor. Technically, this expression is not necessarily sexual: it could also be used in reference to any demand for any alternative form of repayment, such as free goods or (non-sexual) services, or other non-monetary non-sexual favors. However, the sexual connotation is very strong.

In now-dated gay male slang "trade" is the name for any man who is sexually pleasured by another man without actively participating or reciprocating in any way. The prototypical example is a straight man who opens his clothing, passively receives oral sex, closes his clothing and leaves.

Paid with "special" favors. The tone and use of the word special can mean sexual. I can't think of a word that automatically means pay with sex. It is usually the tone and context.

"Maybe I can pay you some other way?" Wink, wink. Stuff like that.
