How to join / Join requests
Any Tomísimo member can apply to join the Daily Spanish Word Project. Just reply to this thread stating your desire to join, why you would like to be a part of this, and what you will bring to the table. There is no rigorous control over who can join or not, but you should only join if you're actually interested in taking part in this.
Alternatively, you can send me a PM to discuss joining, if you don't want to post in this thread. |
I would like to apply to join, for fairly selfish reasons. I have difficulty in remembering new words, and if I have to present one, there is a good chance I can remember it myself.
I am particularly interested in 'false friends' where the meaning in Spanish is not what somebody English might expect. I could concentrate on those, with emphasis on confusing verbs, of which there seems to be hundreds. :) |
I would join too for similar reasons.
|
Ok, you should both have access to the Daily Spanish Word Workshop forum where all the action takes place. Enjoy!
|
I want access too. If possible... :)
|
Done.
|
I'd like to join to the project of the daily word.
May you tell me. What have I do for the contribute with the project? |
Crotalito, I don't think you're quite ready to participate in this project, since a moderate level of fluency in both languages is required to contribute constructively. In the mean time, I strongly encourage you to continue learning and improving your English. Cheers!
|
As a retired language teacher, I'd very much like to actively participate in the new sub-forum.

I do NOT want to join, for obvious reasons ... but would like to request that we have more than just one or two native Spanish speakers............ :)
|
It sounded very bad for me.
|
I wouldn't mind joining. Anything related to language learning interests me.

¿Eligen los miembros a la palabra del día ?
|
I believe that David select to people who believe has the knowledge in the language.
As you can see that I couldn't join there. |
Hey, I would like to join if its still open, cheers.

The Daily Word project is a bit out of service, but thanks for your interest.
The admin who submits the daily word has been tied up in the real world for many months. When he is able to return to cyberspace, I'll let him handle your request. ;) |
