How common is this word used to say torment or harrass?
|
I'd say it's as common as informal language. :D
También se usa: Estoy frito. = Estoy perdido. = No tengo escapatoria. ≈ I'm dead. Choqué el coche de mi papá. Estoy frito. I crashed my father's car. I'm dead. Si no pasas el examen, estás frito. If you don't succeed the exam, you're dead. |
The verb "freír" (and another ones, such as imprimir, proveer, atender, etc.) has two participles, one of them regular ("freído") and the other irregular ("frito"). With the verbs freír, imprimir and proveer you can use both participles with compound tenses (not with tho others, around 70 verbs):
