Strong communication skills
I am translating some report card comments, and I'm stuck on the word "strong" :banghead: in the following sentences. Please correct my mistakes or let me know if you have ideas :hmm:of other words I can use other than "fuerte". Displays strong phonemic awareness Presenta un conocimiento fuerte del fonema (distingue los sonidos del idioma). Displays strong oral communication skills using descriptive language Presenta capacidades de comunicación oral fuertes utilizando lenguaje descriptivo Gracias |
Here's how I would say it:
Displays strong phonemic awareness Demuestra conocimientos extensos de la fonología Displays strong oral communication skills using descriptive language Demuestra habilidades extensas en comunicación verbal usando un lenguaje descriptivo |
Gracias David :o)

No problem at all. :)

Yes, that s a good option
another option "grandes" Displays strong oral communication skills using descriptive language Demuestra grandes habilidades en comunicación oral/verbal usando lenguaje descriptivo |
Can you use capacidad instead of habilidad? I don't think you can, but in English their meanings are so similar they are often interchangable.
Can you say tiene el don de comunicar bien? o la maña de comunicar bien? |
I wouldn't use maña, but the other three work, I think. Don would be the "gift" of communication.
