¿Qué es lo que más extrañas?
Mi familia, mi casa, la comida que me prepara Juanita, mi cama, manejar por la Costa Verde con las ventanas abajo para oler el mar, ir al mercado de mi barrio. No hay un solo día que no tenga atravesado a Perú en el pecho. I’m looking for help with this expression: No hay un solo día que no tenga atravesado a Perú en el pecho. Could it mean: There isn’t a single day that I don’t, in my heart, travel through Peru. |

There is not a day that Peru is not in my heart.
Less literally but more natural sounding in English: Not a day passes without memories of Peru in my heart. Even less literally but better yet: Peru is always in my heart. This is the one I like best: There's not a day that Peru doesn't cross my mind
