Tirarse a la bartola

LLeva todo el día tirado a la Bartola. In English? Tirarse a la Bartola significa, no hacer nada en todo el día, sólo ver la tele , estar tumbado leyendo etc....

To sit around or laze about yes..

To bum about/around.

If watching tv all day:
Being a couchpotato.

Maybe 'hang around'
This may mean to 'linger' or not take action but it
can also mean just o spend time at some place or
someone' s house e.g.
