Se supone
He oído alguna forma de la frase «se supone» muchas veces y me parece que quiere decir «I think . . . » o «Do you think . . .
(I think we'll find out about it soon enough.) ¿Se suponía que me vencieras? (Did you think you would beat me?) Se buscan observaciones y sugerencias . . . ¡gracias!

Well, I'm not sure enough but less try:
- Is supposse that we find about it in it's time/in the right time. ¿Se suponía que me vencieras? - ¿It was supposse for you to win?

Hola Ookami, hacía días que no te veía (and I think it is supposed )
"Se suponía que me vencieras" no la veo correcta, yo diría "se suponía que me ibas a vencer o que me vencerías" I'd say that it's equivalent, as Ookami said, to "it is supposed" or "it is presumably": Se supone que la reunión empezaba a las 8. He tenido que ir andando y he llegado tarde por tu culpa.

Se supone is it's assumed that.
If you want to be more direct use supongo.

Presumir = to presume asumir = to assume Right? there is/are little nunce(s) but usage, I think, in both languages is pretty much the same. |

It's an irrevocable situation is it? Presumably the materials that were bought are still there. |

Common speech, I guess |
