En el video está claro lo que es un globo, y un pedo... Creo que son expresiones algo vulgares, sobre todo la última, que sólo se utilizan en España.

En México tambien se usa la palabra, aunque vulgar, "pedo" para indicar que la persona está embriagada/borracha.

El vecino estaba bien pedo anoche.
The neighbor was really drunk las night.

or

Me puse una peda bien buena la semana pasada.
I got real drunk last week.

But I don't think it's very rude. To me, it sounds less rude than ¡Vaya pedo lleva ése!
If you use pedal instead of pedo you're softening the phrase.

To me, Spanish pedal is English pedal. That's what I think if I say: ¡Qué gran pedal lleva ese! It doesn't make any sense, but the other way around doesn't make any sense either.

I do hope everyone here understands that to say someone is a pedo in English is a far more serious and disturbing accusation.
