Hello
Hi,
I'm a 24-year-old currently trying to get a PhD in mathematics and learn Spanish. I want to learn Spanish because mainly to travel to Chilean Patagonia (and yes, I am aware that their Spanish has a heavy accent and am a bit concerned about understanding them!), but all of Spanish-speaking South America looks cool. I also want to learn Portuguese someday so I can talk to people from Brazil, and subsequently almost anyone in the Americas.
I see this is a small forum. I like having a small community where everyone knows everyone, though I am a bit concerned there won't be many people to reply and have a conversation.
