I don't believe it is bad to use colloquialisms necessarily.

They are used everyday by everyone and they remind us that language (as in other things in life) also has a relaxed side to it. Just because you use colloquialisms doesn't mean you can therefore forget proper grammar skills.

Well this was certainly a timely post for me . I was just reading about the present and future being interchangeable. So it's more common to use the present instead of the future?
