Maybe: (Something or someone that) leads you to travel around the world (either literally or figuratively).
El Internet me lleva a conocer el mundo. Hablar con él me lleva a conocer el mundo. Salgo de viaje mañana, porque mi padre me lleva a conocer el mundo. Btw, "Llevar de conocerse" makes sense in Spanish, but that's for people who have known each other for some time. Llevamos de conocernos tres años. We have known each other for three years. ¿Cuánto llevaban de conocerse cuando se casaron? How long had you known each other when you got married?
