Encontré este blog
Lo encuetro interesante. Habían charlas antes sobre el fenómeno de
spanglish, pero encuentro este artículo informativo. Yo vivo en un entorno donde el spanglish predomina, y francamente no me agrada. Sin embargo encuentro el punto de vista del artículo contundente. Decididamente interesante. Interesantísimo. Yo solía ser muy purista... cuando era joven... ahora soy más abierto y anárquico, así que no me parece mal aprender Spanglish, Catañol, Englañol y lo que nos echen.
Como dice alguien comentando el blog, "from lost to the river" (de perdidos al río). The point mentioned is that it'll be valid as long as one is aware of what he is doing, and is playing and creating positively... the moment one loses 'knowledge' of what is going on, it could very confusing... So, it is always good to have a Royal Academy, or Un Diccionario Panhispánico de Dudas, to have some points of basic agreement, to keep the communication going... which is after all, all we want.

El espanglés siempre me ha interesado. No creo que vaya a causar ningún detrimento al español, al contrario, da posibilidades nuevas al idioma. Tanto como el rap es interesante porque juega con los límites del lenguaje, usar el spanglish resulta en construcciones creativas e interesantes.

Estoy de acuerdo. Uno que mezcla dos idiomas domina los dos y no está causando ningún daño a ninguno de los dos idiomas. Habiendo dicho eso, los idiomas cambian, adquieren nuevas palabras, etc, debido simplemente al uso que le damos. Pero eso lo veo como una ventaja, no desventaja. Esto es muy diferente a una lengua criolla que surge cuando personas de habla diferente tienen que usar un idioma que no dominan y por consecuencia surge un idioma nuevo. (Primero es un pidgin, y luego cuando tenga hablantes nativos es una lengua criolla).
