Reading the DW's post, a jigsaw is a "caladora", and that would be "una sierra de vaivén". Though thinking of the word "vaivén" (va y viene), a handsaw (serrucho) would be "de vaivén", since you must push and bring nearer the saw. |

Can you think of a kind of saw which isn't 'va y viene' ?- (apart from a circular saw )

Oh Dear Oh Dear. A circular saw is wheel with teeth which rotates very fast, and is very dangerous. And it's one very good feature is that it cuts only in an exact straight line.
