Jane will become famous soon enough

Peotas: ¿pelotas, peonzas, personas, marmotas...?

But, if you are fond of metaphors, you can become a poet, guilty or innocent.
Pués,(can I use pues here?)
To accuse someone of being a poet is completely absurd--as if it were(el subjuntivo en inglés) a crime. To defend youself against such accusations takes it further. Then, Jane defends the accused victim. The victim
then, gets insulted at the accusation of not being a poet. This is a prime
example of irony taken to an extreme.

That makes me feel better, since I thought you were a new Plato sending poets off from the perfect Republic.

Jane,
Notice none of his quesses include the obvious (poetas) sino palabras
¡ Pobre Alfi!

If I understand it correctly, peonza is a top (whipping/spinning/humming top [the toy]). This is a trompo in Mexico.
