Codo con codo

I’m looking for other ways to say: “codo con codo”.

The expression has been taken from the following paragraph:

Is this expression below correct and accurate?

Are there any more I could also use?

Many thanks in advance.

More options:

In English "work closely with the vet..." seems to be the most common way to express this idea.
If you find something wrong with my Spanish, please correct it!
