Question Math SAT question

  1. y = (–x)^2 + 1
  2. y = –x^2 + 1
  3. y = |x^2 + 1|
  4. y = |x^2 – 1|
  5. y = |(x – 1)^2|
I think it's 3; because 1 and 2 the x is negative, but the graph is facing up. and it can't be 4 or 5 because the y-int. is 1, not -1.
