viña (feminine noun (la)) — vineyard. Look up viña in the dictionary

Una viña es una plantación de vides que produce uvas.
A vineyard is plantation of grape-bearing vines.

I think viña means vine and viñedo would be vineyard.

RAE states viñedo is a vinyard.
and viña is a large vinyard or (a word I hate) winery.

Agree with Maria José, but there is an usage of viña as vinyard too.
Ej: "Me voy a trabajar a la viña" ór "Mi viña hace los mejores tintos" they are speaking about the whole vineyard, not about an specific vine ("viña")
