I am trying to make sense of this one...
it never fails. something must be misspelled here because i can not make 100% sense of it. i understood 2/3rds of it.........
"ok, estoy sentado a su triste que no tengo un novio de verdad lol. Odio estar sola" ok, i am seated/sitting (maybe she meant to say sentaNdo) to your sadness that actually i don't have a boyfriend. i hate to be alone. |

Maybe the verb was meant to be "sentir" and not "sentar". Could be a typo?

The sentence is too fragmentary to make any sense to me, but maybe she meant "he estado muy triste porque no tengo un novio de verdad". ("I've been very sad because I don't have a real boyfriend"). Or like Tacuba said, "me estoy sintiendo triste"[...]

The author of the sentences is female (hinted at in the first sentence and confirmed in the second). That being the case, the phrase estoy sentado would have to be estoy sentada. We're dealing with the estar + past participle construction, used to describe the state of someone/something. I'm thinking, though, that it's supposed to be something else entirely because saying "I'm sitting down" doesn't fit with the rest of the sentence (the part that's intelligible, that is). If the girl is fessing up to a lie, she may have been trying to say "I'm sorry," as Tacuba surmised, but the right wording isn't present for that construction, either. Even if the past participle of sentir were misspelled (in three places), the construction would still not mean "I'm sorry." If it were changed to estoy sintiendo, this would mean "I'm feeling" and might have made sense (if it weren't for what follows it, that is). The phrase a su can't be right at all if any of my guesses above is correct. If it were meant to go with "I'm feeling," it should have been su (if the author were writing to a friend, it should have been tu). It certainly doesn't make any sense to place su/tu with triste. Triste is an adjective, so it can't be owned (it's not a noun). Triste could precede a noun, but it doesn't, so the phrase a su just doesn't make any sense at all. Sadness is tristeza, by the way, and su/tu tristeza would make sense. So, if my guessing is right, the first part of the sentence would have to be changed to "estoy sintiendo tu tristeza" (I'm feeling your sadness). This is kind of awkward, but possible Spanish. The last sentence is perfect Spanish and was translated correctly. If my guess above is right, the message can be translated as: OK, I'm feeling your sadness that I don't have a real boyfriend lol. I hate being alone. |

As others have done, if you change the sentence, you can make it make sense. Here's another version, just for the fun of it.
Estoy sentida y triste que no tengo un novio de verdad lol. Odio estar sola. I'm offended and sad because I don't have a boyfriend lol. I hate being alone.
