Can someone translate this for me?¿Alguien puede traducir unas frases?

I think that it is asking me, why do you think the owner of the inn tells don Quijote that he could not sleep for a year at the inn? But I'm not sure.

I'm confused as to why the ventero would say "if you enter this inn you will have occasion to not sleep in a year".

If someone could translate what the ventero and the pregunta says then hopefully I can understand well enough to answer it...

Ventero: So, you can sleep in these hardships, and if you can't sleep, you can stay awake.
...
If it's like that, let him come into this doss-house and he'll have the opportunity and opportunities to go a whole year without sleeping.

The word Ventero is used as person where has a business in some place and people name him the Ventero.

Also Ventero is the person who sells candies in the street.
