Buenos días a todos,

Hoy durante un programa de radio, escuché un presentador referirse al nuevo Papa como un hombre querible, en otras palabras, simpático, humilde, más abierto, etcétera.

Pensé en la palabra querible y busqué en el diccionario que dio una tradución de lovable.

Me parece otra tradución más adecuada es likeable.

Digo eso porque en inglés no se dice que una persona es lovable, sino loved o well-loved.


Qué os parece?

I am not sure what is your native language, but I found the word loveable in this dictionary.

I would say much loved.
I would reserve lovable for puppies and other cuddly things --not the pope.

Amable and lovable are not used the same way.
