Construction of a sentence

I understand the following sentence, but I think its construction is a bit strange. Is it to give emphasis?

All good looks are a snare.

I'd say: all the things that look good are a snare.

Maybe I'm wrong

Thanks

Irmamar - 'Good Looks' is a noun phrase specifically to describe a beautiful woman or a handsome man. The meaning is no wider than that.

It is similar to the saying 'Beauty is skin deep'

Edit: Looks in this case is a plural noun, not a verb.

It's better that you say ( All the things that look good are a dust.

Good-looking: adj.
Good looks: sust.

He is good-looking
He has good looks
His good looks make him stand out in a crowd
He is so good-looking that he stands out in a crowd
