Can I get some insight into a translation for the phrase, ¿Como largo vas hacer? Translates to, por favor? I think it means something along the lines of " How pompous?" Or how big something or other. Not really sure.

It looks like a far-too-literal translation of the English "How long are you going to take?", but that should be ¿Cuánto tiempo vas a tomar/pasar?.

Google doesn't turn up any matches for the original phrase you posted. Where did you see it?

In my long years speaking Cervantes' language, I have never heard that expression.

I'm not saying it doesn't exist because I've been surprised several times by slang or expressions used in other countries or regions.

Conejodescarado's answer seems pretty accurate to me.. Could it be "Spanglish"?

It's used by my relatives a lot. When I ask them what it means, they kind of exchange knowing glances, but refuse to tell. They usually use it when referring to a person, if that helps.

Putting "largo" and a context of "glances" together, you only need to confirm it is said among males and I would suspect it has a "dirty" meaning -"dirty" not because it necessarily is, but to avoid further explanations-. Anyway, though it should be "vas a ser" or "vas a hacer", it doesn't matter because the sentence doesn't make sense in Spanish -language which do include Tex-Mex as a dialect-. It's probably some local slang, even family slang, in an area where English and Spanish pidginize.
