Hi,
Sorry, I didn't see the intro section before I posted my first thread. I am from Maine and have moved back and forth across the US with my family. Maine is our home and most of my Down East accent is available to use, but I try to keep it on a normal level.
Most US born Americans will have a tough time understanding a hard core "Down Eastah"...it is one of the reasons I am having a hard time with learning Spanish with the absolute needed pronunciations of the vowels.
