The U.S. Department of Labor's 1991 definition of glass ceiling is "those artificial barriers based on attitudinal or organizational bias that prevent qualified individuals from advancing upward in their organization into management-level positions." What would be an optimum translation for this expression?

Just saying it literally? "No hay techo de cristal..." :?:

"No hay barreras/límites artificiales..." :thinking:

Supongo que "techos virtuales" o "invisibles" puede funcionar bien, porque no calca el original inglés pero respeta su expresividad incorporando la frase "poner techo".

(n.) = techo de cristal, techo de vidrio, tope ficticio, barrera ficticia, barrera invisible

Creo que depende de los contextos se podrá usar una cosa u otra... aunque el adjetivo "virtual" me gusta bastante...
