... just find yourself an English girlfriend and keep on practising...I cannot even think about looking for a girlfriend while I'm in mourning.:worried::(

Thanks a lot for your help, Gemma and Poli.

Your face looks familiar. This place looks familiar, I must have been here before.
Your voice sounds familiar, this song sounds familiar.

You guys are so fast. I can´t believe I missed out on this very interesting conversation.

:o I'm a clever (Iris's word) researcher. I've never been to Spain, but found several websites that talked about the slogan. I hope I did it justice.

You did more than do it justice, Rusty.
Thanks a mil, everyone!

I couldn't explain it better than Rusty.
This campaign is going on right now in Madrid, but I haven't seen a lonely advert on it (and I travel by metro!).
Jane catches meanings and things I would never pay attention to. She's going through Madrid with widely open eyes and mind. I wish to be she and see as many new things as she's seeing now.

...
Jaimito has dead this morning (Q.E.P.D.). He is been living with us for sixteen years.

Alfonso, I´d like to believe that I´m alert to everything that goes on around me, thus I´m able to learn from everything and enjoy the really nice ones. Remember, life´s beautiful.;):D
Besides, I have to admit that, I´m head over heels in love with Madrid.

BTW, Sorry about your bird, do accept our condolences.

Yeah, but the point to me is to know where mistakes begin. For example: do you consider a mistake: you know what?
The most correct version would be "do you know what?" but you hear "you know what?" all the time. I would say it's only incorrect in the highest registers.
