¡Adelante, caminante!

Today a friend of mine was in his car inviting me to get in and go for a ride, and as I walked toward the car he said with a smile ¡Adelante, caminante!, which I understood. He also said there are other similar rhyming phrases that are used for inviting someone to do something, but he couldn't recall them at the moment. Can any of you? I'd really like to know.

My grandmother used to say "Adelante, caminante, con patas de elefante". :D

I don't remember any rhymes as invitations, but in Mexico there are many rhyming expressions just for the sake of playing with language. I only recall these right now:
- ¿Me entiendes Méndez o te explico Federico? -> Get it?
- Nel pastel -> Not at all.
- Ya estás peinado p'atrás. -> Let's do it.


For inviting someone to enter your place, you could also hear "Pásale a lo barrido (aunque regado no esté)". :thinking:

There is no offense in that reply, since he's the one who introduced colloquial expressions. :)
In more formal contexts, it's better to just use "okey". ;)
