¿cómo se dice...?

"I can't be bothered, I'll do it later" (the washing up for example)

"Me da pereza, lo haré mas tarde"

In English we use this expression a lot, and I asked a Spanish friend what the equivalent would be and she told me a phrase but said it was very colloquial but I can't remember what is was. Would this be the best way to translate it or is there something more common that one would say in Spanish?

No voy a preocuparme con esto ahora. Lo voy a hacer más luego.

or maybe

Por lo pronto esto no me importa. Lo atenderé más tarde.

Thanks but it wasn't either of these ways, there is a way to say it that's very colloquial. When I see the person again that told me, I'll ask them and let you know!

A Mexican would say "no tengo ganas; al rato lo hago", but I don't know if that would be used in Spain. :D
Another way to say it, although not colloquial, is "lo haré después"; with a less formal tone, "después lo hago".

@Poli: Cuidado. Aunque en lenguaje muy coloquial puede oírse "más luego", es un pleonasmo y es preferible evitarlo. :)

I think I understand más luego sounds pedantic. Instead would it be better to say: lo voy a hacer luego 0 lo dejo para luego?

Quite the contrary to pedantic; it sounds uneducated. Any of your alternatives are fine. :)

Isn't it "I can't be bothered" = No puedo molestarme/No me moleste....?

As in "wasting time"????????

It think it can be, but often bothered, as in can't be bothered, means you have other (or better) things to do.
