"Podría estar un poco cansada, llegamos a casa muy tarde anoche."
"Igual esta un poco cansada, llegamos a casa muy tarde anoche."

Lots of options.
(Quizás|Tal vez|A lo mejor|Puede que) esté (un poco|algo|un tanto) (cansada|soñolienta|desvelada), llegamos a la casa (muy tarde anoche|en la madrugada)
("en la madrugada" only if it was after midnight)
Also,
cansada (tired in general, could be sleepy tired or tired from too much work)
soñolienta (sleepy)
desvelada (specifically tired from not getting enough sleep)

Cansado in Spanishis a much more negative term than tired is in English at least among Latin Americans I know. The preferred term for to be tired
is tener sueño.
Your use of poco softens cansada a lot, but if you can find a way to substitute tener sueño for cansado in your sentences, you may sound more natural- at least to my ears.
I would be interested to read what others think about this.
