This sentence from Yago

La policía anduvo en mi casa.

is translated as

The police were in my house.

In the audio it is difficult to pick up the "anduvo en"
Perhaps just a local accent or could the subtitle be wrong?

Is that a normal translation for "anduvo en" => were in?

I know andar is used rather flexibly.

The woman says exactly "la policía anduvo en mi casa".

The verb "andar" can mean to walk, to pass by, to wander around...
It means that the police did not make a formal thorough search; probably just asked some questions and left.
