"Hay que creer o reventar" is a very common phrase in Argentina and Uruguay meaning something you wouldn't believe possible is so evidently true that you better change your mind and adapt to such reality ("con el calentamiento global es creer o reventar").
How can I express the same notion in English? It has been suggested elsewhere that "believe it or not" ("créase o no", "lo creas o no", "aunque no lo creas") is a good match, but I'm not so sure.
