Hello! Picture this, I'm at a friend's house in Costa Rica and having a meal. From my understanding to say, "The food is very good!" is: "La comida está muy rica!" In that same vein, if I were to use "fruit" instead of "food" ( as my friend there is fruitarian and so am I, would I say, "La fruita está muy rica!" Is that grammatically correct? Also, how about ensalada. Would I say, "La ensalada está muy rica!
I have more in depth questions of course in regards to the different fruits I'll be commenting on but do not want to pile them all into one thread. :)
Thank you to anyone who can offer advice! Much appreciated. [Speaking of the phrase "Much appreciated." What is the correct way to say it in Spanish. Is it "Muy apreciado? or "Muy apreciada?" Having trouble with my grammar. Please pardon it. Thanks so much!]

All of your sentences are fine. :applause:
You can also use it in masculine and in plural:
- Las verduras están muy ricas.
- Este arroz está muy rico.
- Los frijoles están muy ricos.
You can also try some synonyms or comparatives of "rico" to make more varied sentences. Check in your dictionary "delicioso", "bueno", "sabroso", "exquisito"...
Also, you can make sentences with "me gusta"/"me encanta" or the negative: "no me gusta".
- Me encantan las frutas.
- Me gustó mucho la sopa.
- Este postre no me gustó. :yuck:
As for "much appreciated", we don't use it like that in Spanish. You can say "agradezco (mucho) la ayuda", "(muchas) gracias por la ayuda", "(muchas) gracias por ayudarme"... or a plain "(muchas) gracias". ;)
