My wife and I were watching a movie where one character says to the other: "You wouldn't know a good meal if it sat on your face."
My wife asked me for a translation. I couldn't think of an equivalent expression, so I paraphrased:
"No tienes nada de gusto para la comida."
Which brings me to my question: is there a similar expression in Spanish for: "You wouldn't recognize it even if it was right in front of you."
"You wouldn't recognize it even if it was staring you in the face."
